Shift to a Greener Mindset.

The intention of this course is to offer a transformational process for a mindset shift leading to long-term and systemic thinking and acting, fostering a transition towards more green and fair societies.

This course is open to anyone who is drawn to meeting like-minded people, suffers from eco-anxiety and wants to overcome their helplessness.

This course is also a prerequisite for mindfulness teachers (such as MBSR or MBCT teachers or mindfulness teachers with an equivalent background) to begin teacher training for MBST.

We have a 4 year long partnership with the Sustainability Center at Lund University working closely together with Christine Wamsler setting the framework for MBST.

Course Dates:

6.00 pm – 8.00 pm BST / 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm CEST

In this first introductory module you will get to know your fellow participants, explore some of the key topics and start to uncover the terrain that we will be working with.

Any transformation and behavior change needs time to learn, reflect and act consciously. That is why we will start with a practice that creates space in our body and mind.

6.00 pm – 8:00 pm BST / 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm CEST

In this module we will explore how inner development links to outer transformation and what role a conscious mind plays in changing habits at an individual and collective level.

We will become aware of how we relate to the current state of our planet and learn what is needed to address the climate crisis with more clarity, confidence and determination.

6.00 pm – 8.00 pm GMT / 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm CET

Dealing with the state of our planet and scientific projections can be overwhelming and cause anxiety or other strong emotions, often leading to automatic fight-flight-or freeze reactions. Fear might get us moving, but may not lead to effective sustainable action.

In this module we will explore how emotions work and how practices like gratefulness or bodyscan help us regulate emotions to act with a clear, conscious mind.

6.00 pm – 8.00 pm GMT / 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm CET

What is calling you? What do you want to let go and what wants to be born? What is it that you are taking responsibility for and what do you want to bring into the world? The traditional Wheel of Realization shows us how much everything and everyone is interconnected and sets you on the path to finding your role.

A supportive practice of compassion will help us not only understand but also feel the interdependence and move into mindful action.

6.00 pm – 8.00 pm GMT / 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm CET

Faced with the magnitude of the crisis to be overcome, we as individuals often feel powerless and don’t see how our individual actions can contribute to a larger sustainable transformation.

In this module, we will be inspired by the great systemic effect that even small changes can have and often had. We will explore how you can think and act in a systemic way. We will explore how we move beyond individual habit change towards collective action.

6.00 pm – 8.00 pm GMT / 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm CET

In this module we look at: How do we work well together in diverse groups and in times of high uncertainty and volatility? How do effective teams function?

We will practice qualities for mindful collaboration and experience the transformative effect of mindful listening. Why? We cannot solve such complex problems as the climate crisis on our own.

6.00 pm – 8.00 pm GMT / 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm CET

In this module, you will work with your peers to develop a concrete prototype or initiative that embodies awareness, compassion, courage, integrity, and resilience in the spirit of a sustainable future, fostering mindful collaboration with others.

6.00 pm – 8.00 pm GMT / 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm CET

In this last module we will reflect on our joint journey and integrate our learnings. We will learn about effective communication, dealing with other opinions and about movement building to support bringing your Calling and project to life.
